[email protected]Shoulder replacement surgery is a major procedure in which the injured shoulder components are removed and replaced with prosthetics, or artificial elements. It's an intricate process that includes working with the patient's soft tissue, prosthetics, and natural bone. Although shoulder replacement surgery typically relieves pain, individuals may still feel some discomfort in the winter or during periods of high activity. Pain and edema are to be expected during the first 1-4 days following surgery. Following that, kids can start mild therapeutic exercises and spend weeks two through six wearing a sling. In eight to twelve weeks, patients should be able to resume their regular activities. For two weeks, patients should refrain from wearing standard bras; instead, they can wear racerback or T-back straps. If the prosthesis is not correctly anchored into the natural bone or is not positioned in relation to other shoulder components, issues may arise.
